Footwear Brand SKECHERS Invests In European Expansion

SKECHERS, a global leader in lifestyle and performance product, has secured four new retail stores throughout Europe. It was advised by Harper Dennis Hobbs.

In addition to opening a 192 sq m store at The Style Outlets in Sugar City, Amsterdam, the brand is investing heavily in the Italian market with a 218 sq m store in Vicolungo at The Style Outlets between Milan and Turin; a 198 sq m store in Castel Guelfo’s The Style Outlets near Bologna; and a 200 sq m unit at Mantova Outlet Village close to Lake Garda.

SKECHERS has built an impressive global network, spanning more than 160 countries across six continents.  In 2016, the Company generated $3.56 billion in annual net sales – a year-over-year increase of 13.2 percent. In addition to a strong presence in department, specialty and independent stores, there are also more than 2,000 SKECHERS retail stores worldwide.

SKECHERS was recently named Mainstream Women’s Brand of the Year at the 2017 Drapers Footwear Awards, and received Brand of the Year accolades during the 2017 Footwear Industry Awards in February.
