London-based strategic retail and leisure property consultancy Harper Dennis Hobbs (HDH) has advised Bob W in the company’s expansion to create its European footprint. Since July 2021, Bob W and HDH have identified, executed acquisitions of, and opened three new sites in London and Madrid.
Bob W is a tech-driven hospitality provider that offers an alternative to hotels and short-stay rentals. With interiors created by local designers and artists, Bob W provides the destination for modern travellers looking for the quality and comfort of a hotel, with the authentic experience of a local apartment.
HDH and Bob W worked closely to select the new sites. In London, apartments have been secured creating the new ‘Bob W City Of London’ destination on Watling Street and Groveland Court and ‘Bob W Tower of London’ on Great Tower Street, all in The City of London.
In addition to London, HDH has worked with Bob W to secure ‘Bob W Chueca’, located on Fuencarral Street in the Malasaña neighbourhood of Madrid, just next to Gran Via.
The newest Bob W acquisitions are the company’s second, third and fourth sites in London, and Madrid joins Helsinki and Tallinn in mainland Europe.
Ana Mendi, Director at Harper Dennis Hobbs, said:
“We are delighted to have advised Bob W in securing additional new sites in London and its first in Spain.
“Bob W is a forward-thinking brand with a focus on sustainability and the deliberate pursuit of all things local, which is something we believe really resonates with travellers and further positions Bob W as a central player of the hospitality sector in the future.”
Benjamin Russell, Director of Real Estate at Bob W, added:
“Our ongoing relationship with HDH and its many professionals across a variety of geographies has proven a strategic advantage in the competitive pursuit of hospitality space. With HDH’s expansive network across Europe combined with their talented team and Bob W’s ambition, we see our continued relationship as a constructive force in changing hospitality forever.”
