HARPER DENNIS HOBBS WELCOMES NEW DIRECTOR AND ANNOUNCES RAFT OF PROMOTIONS

Strategic retail property consultancy Harper Dennis Hobbs (HDH) has announced two new hires to its team and three internal promotions.

Rob Clifford leads the company’s lists of new appointments as Director of Head of Business Rates within the Corporate Services department. Clifford previously worked at Richard John Clarke, Aitchison Raffety, the Valuation Office Agency and CBRE. As the retail sector continues to develop and change, Clifford’s expertise will support HDH’s clients on lease renewals, rent reviews and adapting to changing business rates.

The travel retail team continues to expand too, with Akil Philip-Forde as the latest addition. Philip-Forde’s extensive retail experience within merchandising roles will provide invaluable guidance to clients looking to branch globally.

Speaking on the new hires and promotions, HDH’s COO, Chris Dennis, said:

Peter Schaverien has been promoted to Executive Director. Since joining HDH five years ago, Schaverien’s experience in landlord, tenant and investment areas has continuously led to new opportunities for HDH.

Additionally, James Hiscox has been promoted to Associate Director. Joining in 2017, Hiscox has played an integral role on the agency team, providing lease and business rates advisory. With large success in locating and securing deals, Hiscox Continues to support HDH in growing its client base.

Meanwhile, personal assistant Amy Marchant will be stepping up to provide support to James Ebel, CEO of HDH.
