The Frontier Awards, the most prestigious celebration of excellence within the travel retail industry, is back for its 37th year.

This year the event returns to the spectacular Palm Beach with a host of new awards categories and high profile judges with a new theme and format for 2019.

The glittering gala event will take place on Wednesday 2 October during the week of the Tax Free World Association World Exhibition & Conference, in Cannes. A highlight on the travel retail social calendar, the awards returns to the spectacular Palm Beach venue for 2019.

The Frontier Awards celebrate and recognise the greatest achievements over the past year across the entire spectrum of the travel retail and duty free business – from innovative product launches and new generation retail openings across all channels to industry partnerships and technology success stories. Winners are chosen by a panel of judges, hand-picked from the most experienced and knowledgeable names in the industry.

DFNI-Frontier Editor Kapila Ireland said: “The Frontier Awards remain the benchmark awards platform for excellence in travel retail and we are pleased to return to Palm Beach for a revitalised and spectacular new event programme.

“I would like to thank our esteemed judging panel and sponsors for lending us their support for what is set to be a standout event in 2019. We very much look forward to welcoming the travel retail industry in Cannes for an evening of conviviality, celebration and achievement in travel retail.”
