The Spanish sunglass company Hawkers will open its first store in the United Kingdom in July. It will be located in the heart of London, in Covent Garden, one of the most sought after locations by luxury brands. Hawkers has reached an agreement with the British real estate development firm Capital & Counties Property (Capco), owner of the management of Covent Garden, to locate its store in the west of the square and thus give a boost to its new strategy of becoming a ‘premium’ fashion brand.
Hawkers store in Covent Garden will be alongside brands such as Apple, Burberry, Tom Ford and Chanel, all focused on ‘premium’ or luxury products. Hawkers, a company, with a workforce of more than 260 workers and a brand of sunglasses born on the Internet is now promoting its international expansion with its arrival in the London market.
